The guidelines provide guidance for delineating roles and responsibilities related to safety-critical software development, and reference standards that apply to areas of practice associated with safety-critical systems.

I participated as one of three authors on EGBC's task force that developed the first version of these practice guidelines. The guidelines are now part of the regulatory framework for software engineering in British Columbia.
